"I'm celibate everywhere except Italy." Singer Kesha opens up about her sex life.

39-year-old singer Kesha has revealed details of her sex life two years after the conclusion of the trial against her producer, Dr. Luke (real name: Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald – Ed.), for harassment and violence against her.
"It's probably wrong, but I'll say it. I've always been celibate, except for the time I spend in Italy. And why not? It's normal for a woman to experience pleasure wherever she wants," the singer admitted on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
Kesha said she is currently recovering from the trial and the violence she suffered: "Now I actually enjoy masturbating when I'm doing meditation dedicated to gratitude to the world. I realized that it's normal for a woman to experience pleasure, even when she's going through traumatic events. I had to reprogram myself, and now I masturbate every day, and I'm not ashamed of it."
As a reminder, the singer, who was extremely popular in the 2010s, had been suing her producer for 12 years, until 2024, accusing him of sexual assault, battery, and harassment. In 2016, Kesha's lawsuit to terminate her contract with the producer was dismissed due to the statute of limitations for the crimes having expired, but the singer undeterred and filed a second lawsuit, this time seeking to hold Gottwald personally liable. In 2023, just a month before the hearing, the parties reached an agreement. The details of the settlement have not yet been disclosed.
That same year, 2023, the singer admitted that she nearly died during an egg-freezing procedure due to complications caused by her weakened immune system. A year earlier, doctors diagnosed Kesha with common variable immunodeficiency.
