"I'm so lucky with my surrogate mothers." 53-year-old Cameron Diaz is "overjoyed" after the birth of her third child.

Cameron Diaz, 53, and her husband, Benji Madden, are "overjoyed" about the new addition to their family. A source close to the couple told Us Weekly that the birth of their third child was a surprise, including for the parents.
So, according to an insider, the couple deliberately kept their plans under wraps until the very end—even their loved ones weren't aware: "They themselves weren't sure everything would work out."
"Cameron truly feels very lucky to have surrogate mothers. It's been a long road for her and Benji, but now they have the family they always dreamed of, and it's finally complete," he added.
The couple now intends to devote themselves entirely to their children, and Montecito, where she has lived for several years, is ideal. "They love the place and lead a very modest lifestyle," the source explained, adding, "Here they can raise their heirs away from prying eyes—that's exactly what they wanted."
As a reminder, on May 4, 47-year-old Madden announced on social media that he and Diaz had welcomed a second son, named Nautas. This news surprised fans, as the actress had been actively appearing at public events recently and showed no signs of pregnancy. It was only later revealed that the boy was born via surrogacy.
Cameron Diaz and Good Charlotte rocker Madden married in 2015. The actress became a mother for the first time at 47: she and her husband welcomed a daughter, Raddix. Their second child, a son, Cardinal, was born in the spring of 2024. Both were born via surrogacy. Cameron retired from acting for several years to raise her children and only recently began to return to acting.
