"Adoption is not just a fad." Nicole Kidman is accused online of forgetting about her adopted children.

58-year-old actress Nicole Kidman has been criticized online for her Mother's Day post, in which she forgot to mention her adopted children.

Last Sunday, Mother's Day was celebrated in the United States. In honor of the holiday, Kidman posted a rare photo with her daughters, Sunday and Faith, and captioned it: "My two girls are my everything." However, instead of congratulating her, her followers reminded the actress that, in addition to her daughters with Keith Urban, she has other children.

"I thought she had four kids! This is so weird," "What about the other two?", "This is so sad. Adopting children isn't just a fad, it's a lifelong commitment—her behavior is so upsetting.", "You don't have a relationship with them, but that doesn't mean you should ignore their existence," commenters wrote under Kidman's post, referring to the actress's adopted children, 33-year-old Isabella and 31-year-old Connor.

As a reminder, Kidman married actor Tom Cruise in 1990. The couple adopted two children during this marriage. After the divorce, the adopted children stopped communicating with Kidman, as they sided with their father in their parents' conflict and, like Cruise, became followers of the Scientology religious beliefs, which the actress categorically refused to accept.

Kidman has subsequently tried repeatedly to mend her relationship with her son and daughter, but they are unable to break the cult's rules, which stipulate they must not associate with anyone who is not a Scientologist. Because of this, Kidman's adopted daughter Isabella did not even invite her to her wedding in 2015.

After her divorce from Tom Cruise, the actress married rock musician Keith Urban for a second time. In this marriage, Kidman became the mother of daughters Sunday and Faith. Now 17, the actress's heiress Sunday is already taking her first steps in the modeling business. Kidman divorced the girls' father: their marriage was officially dissolved in January 2026. The musician is already in a new relationship with the 26-year-old singer.
