Meghan Markle visited England for the first time in four years – in transit

44-year-old actress Meghan Markle, who just yesterday celebrated her eighth wedding anniversary with Prince Harry, shared in her Stories* that she recently visited England. Markle's husband has previously publicly stated that neither his children nor his wife will appear in the United Kingdom until the authorities provide them with full protection.
The Duchess of Sussex shared a photo on Instagram* with wedding anniversary greetings from British Airways representatives. Judging by the photo, Markle, who was in Geneva on Monday for the 79th World Health Assembly, stopped in England before returning to the United States.
As a reminder, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced in 2020 that they were leaving the royal family and renounced their titles. The couple moved to the United States and now live in Montecito. They are currently involved in producing and charity work. Meghan also owns her own home goods company, As Ever.
Prince Harry has been litigating with the British government for years over the right to additional security for his family. The youngest son of King Charles III has repeatedly stated that his family is unsafe in London due to the paparazzi and haters who regularly threaten Meghan. This is why, according to Harry, Meghan and her children, son Archie and daughter Lilibet, did not attend the coronation ceremony of Charles III in 2023. For the same reason, the king has never seen his youngest granddaughter Lilibet, who was born in 2021. Meghan last visited London in 2022 for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth.
