The internet is rife with speculation that Katie Holmes has had plastic surgery.

Online, 47-year-old actress Katie Holmes is believed to have undergone plastic surgery. This conclusion was reached after the actress attended a New York City Ballet gala, where, according to commenters, Holmes looked too young for her age.

Holmes appeared on the red carpet in a white dress with a peplum, a plunging neckline, and sandals. The actress completed this look with a black clutch. After photos from the evening appeared online, fans on the Reddit forum doubted that Holmes had undergone plastic surgery: "How can she look 20 without plastic surgery?", "What fountain of youth does she drink from?", "Is this 2006?"

At the same time, Holmes herself has repeatedly publicly stated that she consciously does not resort to plastic surgery. The actress most recently revealed her preference for aging naturally in a video for her social media, where she showed off her daily makeup routine.
