Selena Gomez wore two custom Prada gowns to host the Rare Impact Fund Gala

Selena Gomez hosted her fourth annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Wednesday — and she did it in not one but two custom Prada gowns. The "Only Murders in the Building" star, 34, arrived in cherry-red, then changed into champagne fringe before taking the podium to talk about youth mental health.
From beaded red to swinging silver fringe
Her first look was a strapless red satin dress with a curved neckline, a draped peplum and all-over beading, worn with matching crimson pumps. Stylist Erin Walsh accessorized it with $15,600 Bucherer curved stud earrings — each set with more than 80 baguette- and brilliant-cut diamonds — plus diamond rings on both hands, including her marquise engagement ring from husband Benny Blanco, who was at the event.
Hairstylist Renato Campora slicked her center-parted hair at the front and let it fall into soft waves down her back. Makeup artist Hung Vanngo gave her a smoky eye and glossy nude lip, and manicurist Tom Bachik painted her nails in Olive & June's SC, a deep Bordeaux jelly red.
By the time Gomez stepped up to speak about the nonprofit's work, she had changed into a shimmering champagne column gown stitched with multicolor crystals and sequins and trimmed in silver fringe. Bucherer's shoulder-grazing Inner Fire earrings, set with 12.22 carats of diamonds, mirrored the fringe.
On the carpet, she shared one small daily habit for mental health. "A small thing you should do a day — I would suggest feeling all the feelings you need to feel, and then go bowling or something after so you can have a good time," she said.
Comedian Sean Hayes emceed the evening, with Leon Bridges and Bella Kay performing for a crowd that included Katy Perry, America Ferrera and Shay Mitchell. Gomez also tearfully announced a new award honoring Katherine, the late daughter of her co-star Martin Short.
Prada has dressed Gomez for several fairy-tale nights before: the baby blue Cinderella-inspired gown she wore to the 2025 Golden Globes, and a cotton-candy pink satin minidress for a Rare Beauty launch party in April.
