Kendall Jenner’s anti-aging secret is a $27 Korean cream — here’s what PDRN does

Kendall Jenner’s take on aging is refreshingly low-stress: she wants hydrated, glowy skin, and she has no problem with a few visible years. In a Vogue interview published October 20, the model told senior beauty editor Margaux Anbouba that she would rather age gracefully than fight every line.
The chat started with a confession: Anbouba was late to their Zoom because a stubborn new gray hair wouldn’t stay in her ponytail. Jenner related immediately. “I have some grays that have been multiplying rapidly, and while I’m covering them up right now, one day I’m not going to be able to,” she says. “I love to see a woman with her crow’s-feet or a laugh line. Some of the most beautiful women in the world have just aged gracefully.”
Her plan is hydration over intervention. “I’m looking to keep my skin as youthful as possible by using certain products that keep it hydrated and plump,” Jenner says. “I’m down for all the new discoveries around antiaging, but it’s always going to be on the natural side for me.”
The $27 K-beauty cream behind the glow
The product she credits is the Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid 100 Moisturizing Cream — she was named the face of the K-beauty brand earlier this year. “I like the glowy, antiaging component of these products,” she says. The cream retails for $27 and is currently marked down to $24 on Amazon.
PDRN, or polydeoxyribonucleotide, is one of the buzziest ingredients to come out of Korea’s beauty scene. Board-certified facial plastic surgeon Babak Azizzadeh, MD, told Vogue it is believed to work by “activating adenosine A2A receptors—helping calm inflammation, stimulate new blood vessel formation, and support the skin’s natural processes of healing and collagen renewal.”
Jenner stays picky about texture because of the acne she has wrestled with for years. “I’m still conscious of using products that feel like they won’t break me out while hydrating,” she says, adding that Anua has not caused any reaction. And after a long flight, she is all in on masking: “I am super pro–face mask at the end of a flight, for sure. It makes me feel way more hydrated, so why not?”
