Margot Robbie just debuted her sharpest, iciest bob yet

Margot Robbie has gone even blonder, and even shorter. Spotted arriving in Sydney, the actor debuted a razor-sharp, jaw-grazing bob in a cool-toned, almost-white blonde that is a sharp departure from the shaggy, caramel lengths she has worn for months.
She paired the new crop with a cobalt-blue paisley headscarf tied over it, narrow Chanel sunglasses and an all-black ensemble. Underneath, her pale-blonde hair was cut into a precise, slightly angled silhouette, with blunt ends curving inward just below the jaw. The near-platinum color only amps up the geometric shape.
The look is a 180 from the romantic, tousled hair she wore throughout the Wuthering Heights press tour, full of honey and caramel tones, soft waves and decadent braids. Earlier in spring she had also debuted a shaggier, shoulder-skimming bob with wispy broken bangs, courtesy of hairstylist Cervando Maldonado, just in time for Chanel's fall 2026 show in Paris.
This latest evolution bids farewell to the undone texture in favor of something precise and polished. Robbie chose her moment well, showing off the full look at Chanel's first-ever Sydney show, where she sat beside Nicole Kidman with the bob in a deep side part, slicked and flicked out to touch her earlobes.
The flicked bob has a name
The style she landed on has become a favorite of the fashion crowd. Frankie Pullen, a hairstylist at Larry King Marylebone, told Vogue they are seeing it more and more in the salon. "The flicked bob is such a great, polished autumn and winter haircut," she said. "We've seen clients wanting to move away from softer, shaggier summer styles, and now, they're after a more polished finish ahead of the colder season."
In short: if you have been eyeing a chop, Robbie has just handed you the blueprint for the colder months.
