The royal family of Monaco presented an unusual Christmas card
The royal family of Monaco, despite all the difficulties and problems this year, did not abandon the annual pre-holiday tradition and yesterday presented a Christmas card. 43-year-old Princess Charlene posted it on her Instagram.
Instead of the usual photo, the family presented a painted postcard. It depicts Charlene and her 63-year-old husband Prince Albert II, as well as their children - seven-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella.
I wish you all beautiful and safe holidays,
- Charlene wrote.
This year turned out to be very difficult for the Princess. She was treated for a long time at home in South Africa, where she contracted a severe ENT infection, and lived apart from her family. Against this background, there were rumors about their marriage problems with Albert. Prince Albert has repeatedly refuted them.
After returning to Monaco last month after a long absence, Charlene was hospitalized again as her condition worsened. Now she is still undergoing treatment, but not in Monaco. For security reasons, Albert II did not specify the location of his wife.
