Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender will become parents for the second time

Alicia Vikander appeared at a gala concert at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles. On the red carpet, the 35-year-old actress posed in a transparent dark green Louis Vuitton dress, writes W Magazine. The outfit emphasized the interesting position of Michael Fassbanger's wife, who demonstrated her rounded belly.

Alicia Vikander herself has not yet commented on the news of her pregnancy. Last year, the actress spoke candidly about her miscarriage. The conversation about this came up during an interview with a journalist from The Times about the series where she starred: in the project “Irma Vep” Alicia's character is a Hollywood star who "reboots" his career after losing his child. The theme of the separation of an inconsolable mother from her baby was also key in the drama “The Light Between Oceans,” on the set of which Vikander met her husband, actor Michael Fassbender.

When exactly and at what time she had a miscarriage, Alicia did not specify. She said the following about her experience: “We have a child now, but it took us a while for him to be born. Losing a child is something very painful. And, of course, then I had associations with the film (“The Light in the Ocean.” - Ed.). It took on a completely new meaning for me.”

As Vikander said then, in such moments it is especially difficult for those whose profession involves publicity: “We all go through difficult periods in our lives, but if you work in an office, you can at least leave work for a while. However, sometimes something happened to myself and my colleagues, after which you have to go on the red carpet. And sometimes I didn't understand how people deal with it. They meet you there and ask how you are. But most of us in such situations could not even find the strength to leave the house.”

Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender got married in the fall of 2017. The couple lives in Portugal and leads a private lifestyle; the actors almost never talk about personal matters. They didn’t even tell the press anything about their child, born in 2021—they didn’t reveal either the gender or the name of their first-born.
