Elizabeth Hurley's 21-year-old son Damian, in an interview with the Sunday Times, commented on working on the set of his mother's new film, where she starred in explicit scenes. This caused criticism online: many felt that such collaboration between mother and son looked strange.

"I'm tired of saying that this is completely normal. I don't know what that says about us," he said.

“I’ve talked to many of my friends who are in the industry, like their parents, and they say exactly the same thing: what may seem completely strange and extraordinary to outsiders, to us it’s just commonplace,” he said.

According to him, there were no coordinators of intimate scenes on the set as unnecessary: ​​everyone was comfortable. Damian recalled his mother teaching him about sex when he was “ridiculously young” and insisting it was “beautiful and natural” but forbidding him from watching violence in films.

He added that he and his mother were always very close, and their relationship was reminiscent of that of a brother and sister. According to him, they have "double telepathy": they "can carry on a full conversation simply by nodding or shaking their heads."

The 58-year-old actress played the lead role in the erotic thriller Strictly Confidential, directed by her 21-year-old son Damian. The film contains erotic scenes with the participation of Elizabeth Hurley, in which she starred naked. According to the actress, she did not experience any discomfort from undressing in front of her son, since he created “the most calm atmosphere for the actors”: “According to the script, I had to do things that I usually don’t do in films. But thanks to the fact that Damian was on site, I felt safe and looked after."

Many online, however, found this strange and criticized the actress. However, this is not the first time Damian has filmed his mother, and also often photographs her in a bikini and semi-nude.

Damian is the son of Elizabeth Hurley with her ex-husband, producer and entrepreneur Steve Bing. Damian's father passed away in 2020.
