"I thought, 'Oh my God, I've created a monster.'" Milla Jovovich talks about how her daughter Ever learned to read at age five to pursue an acting career
Actress Milla Jovovich spoke on the Jennifer Hudson show about the acting ambitions of her 16-year-old daughter Ever. According to Jovovich, her daughter’s interest in this industry appeared at an early age.
“When my daughter was five years old, she already told me that she wanted to become an actress. Already as a child she was a real diva. She said: “Mom, I want to go to an audition.” And I answered her: “You don’t even read you can. How will you remember the text when they give you the script?" And she says: “So I need to learn to read for this?” said Milla Jovovich.
This became a motivation for Ever to study: the girl was still in kindergarten, but by the end of the year she was reading at a second-grade level. Then she again asked her mother if she could go to the audition. "I thought, 'Oh my God, I've created a monster.' But she was obsessed with the idea, so I said she should take acting classes. And she was like, 'Okay, sign me up,'" Milla recalls.
Now Ever Anderson already has several roles: she played the role of young Natasha Romanoff in the film “Black Widow”, as well as the role of Wendy in the film “Peter Pan and Wendy”.
In the show, 48-year-old Milla Jovovich also said that she was very pleased that her daughter was very similar to her. According to her, she sees the best traits of herself and her husband in children: “And it just gives me life. I’m definitely going to cry now.”
In total, Milla Jovovich has three daughters from her husband, director Paul Anderson - 16-year-old Ever, 9-year-old Dashiell and 4-year-old Oshin. According to Milla Jovovich herself, children and sports saved her from prolonged depression.
Recently, the topic of nepo babies is often discussed online - privileged children of stars who decided to follow in the footsteps of their parents and make a career in the entertainment industry. While some, including Deva Cassel and Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber, succeed, many, such as Lila Moss or Lily-Rose Depp, are criticized and told to do something else.
