Ukrainian-born Miss Bulgaria winner stripped of title due to her behavior
Model of Ukrainian origin Elizaveta Kravets was stripped of the Miss Bulgaria title, which she received in 2023, when she was 17 years old. The organizers of the competition reported this on social networks. Since June 3, the girl is prohibited from using the title, including in social networks and financial correspondence.
“The head of the Miss Bulgaria Organization regrets to announce that he has decided to deprive the reigning winner, Mademoiselle Elizaveta Kravets, of the crown,” the statement reads. img]
The reason for this was the unacceptable behavior of the model: according to the organizers, she participated in some activity that “contradicts the values of the competition.” This allegedly damaged the reputation, image and prestige of the national beauty pageant. What exactly this activity was is not specified. The organizers added that Elizabeth did not fulfill her obligations as the winner of the beauty contest: all titled participants are required to take part in the organizer’s advertising and charity events throughout the year.
Elizaveta was born in Ukraine, but from the age of 11 she lived in Bulgaria with her parents. Elizabeth's mother is Bulgarian of Ukrainian origin, her father is Ukrainian. The girl herself is a 12-time champion of Bulgaria in sports dancing.
