Emma Stone, Kirsten Dunst, Margaret Qualley and Jesse Plemons at the premiere of "Kinds of Kindness"
The premiere of Yorgos Lanthimos' new film Kinds of Kindness took place in New York. The event, held at the Museum of Modern Art, was attended by the leading actors: Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons (with his wife Kirsten Dunst), Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley and Steve Buscemi (with his girlfriend Karen Ho).
Emma Stone chose a black, translucent Louis Vuitton dress with drapes for the event, while Kirsten Dunst wore a light yellow dress with embroidery on the skirt. Margaret Qualley appeared at the premiere in a white strapless Chanel dress.
The cast, except for Jesse Plemons, recently starred in Yorgos Lanthimos's "The Poor, the Poor," which won four Oscars. Emma Stone won the award for Best Actress.
Lanthimos's new black comedy is made up of three loosely connected parts. The plot revolves around several characters: a man who decides to take control of his life, a woman in search of a spiritual leader, and a police officer who doesn't recognize his wife after she disappears. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, where Jesse Plemons won the Best Actor award. The film is set for wide release on June 21.
