Meghan Markle talks about her pet's death and shows rare footage of her children with Prince Harry
Meghan Markle, 43, who recently returned to Instagram*, posted a new video on the platform dedicated to one of her pets, a beagle named Guy. He recently passed away.
The Duchess of Sussex said she adopted Guy from a kennel shortly before he was due to be put down, and they instantly fell in love. "He was the best 'boyfriend' a girl could ask for! He was there for me on Suits, when I got engaged (and then married), when I became a mum... He was there for me through the quiet, the chaos, the calm and the comfort," Meghan wrote.
She recalled the time Guy had a serious accident shortly before she moved to the UK. Doctors predicted the dog would never walk again, but vet Noel Fitzpatrick helped nurse Guy back to health. Megan later invited Fitzpatrick to her wedding to show her gratitude.
In the video dedicated to the deceased pet, Markle included footage from the family archive, in which Guy is captured with all members of her family: with Prince Harry (40 years old), with his and Meghan's children Archie (five years old) and Lilibet (three years old).
Earlier, a trailer for a new project about Meghan Markle was released, in which the Duchess cooks and keeps bees. According to the Duchess, Guy will also be seen in this documentary.
