Best Airbnbs in Turks and Caicos: a beachfront villa for 12 to a two-person hideaway

Condé Nast Traveler just rounded up its favorite Airbnbs and vacation rentals across Turks and Caicos, and the nine picks cover every kind of trip: big group escapes, family weeks on Grace Bay and low-key stays for two. The list was narrowed by Superhost and Guest Favorite status, ratings, amenities, location, decor, editor stays and past guest reviews.
For a big group or multigenerational family, Villa Karma is the standout. The five-bedroom house sits directly on the beach at Three Mary Cays on North Caicos, sleeps 12 and gives every bedroom its own en suite bathroom. There’s a private pool, beach chairs and paddleboards, but the real draw is privacy — North Caicos sees a fraction of Providenciales’ development, and you need an SUV or Jeep to get there.
Resort-style or couples-only
Travelers who want hotel perks without the hotel can look at a two-bedroom residence inside The Somerset resort on Grace Bay. It comes with the resort’s infinity pool, lap pool, fitness center, complimentary bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and snorkeling gear, plus the Caicos Kids Club — though breakfast and daily housekeeping are not included. A 2,500-square-foot Grace Bay townhome is another family option: three queen bedrooms, four bathrooms and a two-minute walk to the sand, with concierge add-ons such as a private chef or butler.
Couples get the most romantic choices. Nutmeg Cottage in Turtle Cove has a king bedroom that opens straight onto a private freshwater pool and a path to Smith’s Reef snorkeling, while a two-story hideaway nearby sleeps two and throws in bikes, kayaks and paddleboards. For sunset people, Bashert Cottage overlooks Chalk Sound with its own stretch of sand and a kayak and paddleboard for exploring the electric-blue water.
Condé Nast Traveler’s advice for first-timers: stay on Providenciales, where Grace Bay is the center of the action and Turtle Cove and The Bight put you near snorkeling. Quieter picks such as Chalk Sound and Taylor Bay sit farther from the resort strip, and North or Middle Caicos reward anyone after real seclusion. Five to seven days is the sweet spot, the editors say — stretch it to a week or longer if you’re adding another island.
