Kanye West asks the court for joint custody of their children with Kim Kardashian

The couple did not delay with him, and in February, the TV star filed for divorce from her husband. And now it became known that the rapper answered her — West is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children with Kardashian: seven-year-old North, five-year-old Saint, three-year-old Chicago and one-year-old Psalm.

Joint custody will not necessarily mean that the couple will share their parental responsibilities 50-50: most likely, Kim will be the main guardian of the children. She does not object to the children's communication with their father.

At the same time, neither Kanye nor Kim need spousal support and will pay the legal costs themselves (both of them, by the way, are billionaires according to Forbes magazine).

In the documents, West's lawyer points to irreconcilable differences as the reason for the couple's divorce, although the date of the divorce is not specified in them. So, it is not known when West and Kardashian officially divorced.

Sources also said that neither Kim nor Kanye are going to appeal the prenuptial agreement they entered into before the wedding. Kanye does not claim their family mansion in Calabasas worth $ 60 million - Kim continues to live in the house with her children.
