Demi Moore, Chloë Sevigny and Naomi Watts in swan outfits presented the series "Feud" in New York

The second season of Ryan Murphy's anthology series "Feud: Capote vs. the Swans" premiered in New York, and its main stars: Demi Moore, Naomi Watts and Chloë Sevigny gathered to present the project to the public.

61-year-old Demi Moore appeared at the event in a sparkling black and white Balmain dress, embroidered with beads. The pattern on the dress repeated the silhouette of a swan, which referred to the theme of the series. Swan symbolism was also seen in the images of Naomi Watts and Chloë Sevigny: the first played up the theme with a clutch, the second with the snow-white color of her dress.

“Swans” or “swans” were the name given to the socialites with whom the writer Truman Capote was friends. The new season of the series is dedicated to the story of this friendship, which later turned into enmity, which ended sadly for many.

Truman Capote, the author of Breakfast at Tiffany's, was in close contact with several stars of New York bohemia - until he published an excerpt from his unfinished novel Answered Prayers, in which he revealed the vices of his rich girlfriends and high society in general. A scandal broke out: socialite Babe Paley (played by Naomi Watts in the series) committed suicide, and Capote became persona non grata in secular society.

The script is based on Lawrence Leamer's book Capote's Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and the Swan Song of an Era. The series was produced by Ryne Murphy and directed by Oscar nominee Gus Van Sant. The premiere will take place on January 31 on FX.
