Sofia Richie is expecting her first child

Sofia Richie is expecting her first child with husband Elliot Grange, whom she married last year. The 25-year-old model spoke about her pregnancy in a candid interview with Vogue. Richie is now six months pregnant.

“I've learned more in the last six months than in my entire life,” she says.

The model also revealed the gender of the baby. "She's growing quite quickly, so the due date is a little up in the air."

Sofia Richie added that she found out she was pregnant “very, very early.” "I was four weeks pregnant. I had gone to Milan for Fashion Week and was going to the Prada show. I felt terrible, but I didn't think much of it. I thought it was due to jet lag."

She admitted that before going to Ed Sheeran's concert in Los Angeles, she decided to take a pregnancy test, and was very worried about it. Her husband supported her. “He's so sweet and always wants to protect, so he sat me down and said, 'If they're negative, don't be upset. Our time will come."

However, three tests were positive. "My husband was so emotional, we were both crying. It was so crazy and overwhelming, it was so hard not to shout it from the rooftops."

After waiting until the eighth week of pregnancy, the couple shared the good news with their parents, presenting them with a test in a Hermes box. According to Sophie, it was very funny to see how their emotions from “I will receive an expensive gift” change to “I will have a grandchild.”

Sophie also said that she didn't want to share the news with everyone prematurely because she wanted to make a big statement. "I didn't post because I felt like I wanted to make a big announcement. I was worried about the pregnancy and once I hit the 21-week mark I felt like I was in the safe zone."

Previously, Sophie was already suspected of being pregnant after they noticed her in voluminous clothes.
