Kim Kardashian transforms into North West with blue hair and skull jewelry for Halloween

Kim Kardashian kicked off Halloween season the way only she could: by turning into her own daughter. The Kardashians star dressed up as 13-year-old North West — the teen she shares with ex-husband Kanye “Ye” West — and the result is a near-perfect twin match.
Kardashian shared an Oct. 20 TikTok video showing off an all-black outfit: a short-sleeved cybersigilism T-shirt layered over a striped long-sleeve and a pleated mini-skirt, finished with North’s spiky skull necklace and bracelets. To really pull it off, she added North’s go-to full-glam makeup, a faux bridge piercing, and thigh and finger dermal piercings.
The detail that sealed it was the hair. Kardashian debuted sleek, blue locks in the exact same shade her daughter has been rocking — a look she’s long defended publicly.
In a follow-up Instagram post, the SKIMS founder also showed off gem-adorned, duck-shaped nails posed in North’s signature gesture: a hand over her mouth. The transformation earned immediate applause in the comments, with Kris Jenner writing “This is so fun!!!!!” and La La Anthony adding, “U went crrrazzzzyyyyy.”
“Let’s experiment with every hair color”
North’s bold style is a stark contrast to her mom’s, but Kardashian has made clear she’s all for it. “I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” she said on Call Her Daddy in October 2025. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”
“If her rebellion is dying her hair and wearing whatever, but she’s my bestie and being so close, I’d rather my girl be with me and be with me all the time,” she continued. “Let’s experiment with every hair color. I nurture her creative side.”
There is one rule, though. North told Dazed in August that she still can’t get her bridge pierced — “I really want to,” she said, “but I’m not allowed” — which is exactly why mom went with a faux piercing for her costume too.
North has also had to push back against criticism of her look. “Stop saying I’m demonic just because I like to dress this way,” she said in a recent TikTok Live with her mom. “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”
The makeover caps a Halloween season already filling with celebrity transformations, from Janelle Monáe paying homage to Carrie to Victoria Justice throwing a living-dead-themed bash for her single “Love Zombie: The Resurrection.”
