Taylor Swift's 'I Knew It, I Knew You' tops the movie songs chart for a fourth month

Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You" just locked in its fourth month at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Movie Songs chart, keeping the Toy Story 5 track on top through September 2026. The song has now ruled June, July, August and September without interruption.
The cut arrived on June 5 ahead of the film's June 19 theatrical premiere, then bowed at No. 1 on the weekly Hot 100 dated June 20 and held the top spot for two weeks. In September alone it pulled in 40.5 million official US streams and sold 7,000 downloads, according to Luminate, and spent the whole month inside the chart's top 10 with three frames at No. 3.
The Top Movie Songs ranking blends song and film data from Tunefind with sales and streaming figures tracked by Luminate. It typically covers films released in the previous three months, but makes room for movies still riding a wave of public interest, which is how a June release keeps its grip into the fall.
The challengers nipping at its heels
Tame Impala's "Loser" lands at No. 2 for a second straight month, riding the July 31 release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The 2025 track hit a new peak of No. 18 on the Hot 100 and collected 43.6 million streams in September, outpacing Swift's song on streams but not on downloads, where it moved 3,000.
Practical Magic 2, the sequel to the 1998 cult favorite, makes the biggest splash among newly released movies. It premiered September 10 and places two songs on the chart: Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" at No. 3 with 27.5 million streams, and King Harvest's "Dancing in the Moonlight" at No. 8 with 12.4 million.
The rest of the top 10 pulls from Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger, Heart of the Beast, Mayday and more Spider-Man synchs from Steve Lacy and Bad Bunny. Swift's song, meanwhile, holds onto No. 1 heading into the fall.
