Jimmy John’s Picklewich is back with 6 fillings and 5 collectible Pickle Pals

Jimmy John’s is betting on America’s pickle appetite one more time. The bread-free Picklewich returns to participating locations on October 26, along with Pickle-flavored Jimmy Chips — and this year the chain is adding a set of collectible plush keychains called Pickle Pals.
If you missed the first two rounds, the concept is simple: the Picklewich drops the usual bread and swaps in a large hollowed-out pickle, then stuffs all the sandwich fillings inside. Jimmy John’s first introduced it back in 2024, and it quickly became one of the chain’s loudest limited-time launches. That makes this the Picklewich’s third run in about two years.
This year’s lineup sticks with the six versions that carried last season: Vito, Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Tuna, and Veggie. It’s the same expanded menu the chain rolled out during its previous comeback, when it went so far as to throw an entire PickleCon around the occasion.
The new Triple Pickle meal
For 2026, the real hook is the Triple Pickle meal, launching October 27. It pairs any of those six Picklewiches with Pickle Jimmy Chips and one mystery Pickle Pal. The tiny plush keychains arrive sealed in blind bags, so you won’t know whether you pulled Lulu, J.J., Big John, Vito, or the rare Tom until you tear it open. The blind bags turn a fast-casual lunch into a collect-them-all game.
Naturally, there are rules for anyone already plotting a full set of five. Pickle Pals are only available with an in-store or drive-thru Triple Pickle purchase, limited to one per person per transaction. You can’t request a particular character or swap the one you get, and they’re only sticking around while supplies last.
The pickle trend has outlasted nearly every TikTok cycle that spawned it, surviving pickle cocktails, pickle lip balm, and full pickle menus. Delish’s Sean Abrams isn’t calling time on it either: “Apparently the answer is whenever we run out of foods—and now accessories—to brine.”
