Kanye West publicly apologizes for anti-Semitic remarks

Kanye West has issued a public apology for his anti-Semitic remarks and actions. The rapper published a post on Instagram* in Hebrew, asking for forgiveness from everyone who was offended by his behavior.

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintentional disturbance caused by my words or actions. I did not intend to offend or humiliate, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused. I commit to starting with myself and learning from what happened to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity,” West wrote.

At the moment, this is the only post on Instagram* of Kanye West, who has already been blocked several times on this social network, including for anti-Semitism.

Kanye West has been repeatedly accused of anti-Semitism over the past few years. Thus, he declared his love for Hitler, criticized the “Jewish media,” published on social networks an image of a swastika inscribed in the Star of David, and made a number of other resonant statements. Insiders said that not in public, West allowed himself an even greater degree of frankness: for example, as The New York Times reported, he once advised the director of the Adidas company, with which he was collaborating at that time, to “kiss Hitler’s portrait” every day. Kanye West has already tried to justify his words and said that he “loves Jews again,” but then this had no effect, and many contracts with the 46-year-old artist were suspended.
