Prince William and Prince George attended the FA Cup final
In Great Britain, on May 25, the final of the national football championship took place, in which the teams “Manchester City” and “Manchester United” fought. Prince William, who is president of the Football Association, attended the game with his eldest son, Prince George.
Many Internet users noted that the father and son looked like twins: they both wore dark blue suits and similar striped ties.
Before the match, held at Wembley Stadium in London, the Prince of Wales entered the field to the applause of the spectators in the stands, shook hands with the players of both teams and wished them good luck. And after the game, which Manchester United won with a score of 2:1, William presented the trophy to the team captain, Bruno Fernandes. George, in turn, shook hands with Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, and this moment was captured in photographs.
Recently, the Prince of Wales's family has not often been seen at official events. His wife Kate Middleton has not been seen in public at all since she underwent abdominal surgery. Kate's sudden disappearance from the radar gave rise to many rumors: some suspected that she had fled the palace because of her husband's infidelity, and others that she had completely died. After the official video was released in which Middleton announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer, the public’s suspicions only deepened: many considered the video to be fake.
Meanwhile, a royal insider told The Daily Beast that the Princess of Wales probably won't appear in public until the end of the year: “I'm told Kate's diary for this year is empty. Nothing is planned. The main thing for her now is to avoid any stress or anxiety and just continue to get better.”
