Princess Anne hospitalised with concussion
Princess Anne was injured while riding and taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. She was diagnosed with concussion and minor injuries, the Buckingham Palace press service reported. The official statement said King Charles III was aware of all the events.
"Her Royal Highness 'remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and speedy recovery', according to the official statement. Her brother, King Charles III, 'along with the rest of the Royal Family, send their warmest wishes for Princess Anne's speedy recovery', it added.
Details of the incident are not provided, but it is known that it occurred on the evening of June 23 at her Gatcombe Park estate. The press reports that the 73-year-old Princess Anne may have fallen from her horse or been kicked in the head by a hoof. Princess Anne is an experienced rider, she took part in equestrian competitions at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. In addition, she was on horseback at the recent Trooping the Colour parade on June 15 in honor of King Charles III's birthday.
These are not the first health problems of the British royal family in recent times: in February of this year, King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer, and soon after, Kate Middleton was diagnosed with cancer. King Charles continues to perform his royal duties, and the Princess of Wales has completely stopped appearing in public, which has led to a huge number of conspiracy theories. Some believed that the princess ran away from the palace because of Prince William's infidelity, while others believed that she was no longer alive. Nevertheless, Kate Middleton recently appeared at the Trooping the Colour parade. She also commented on her condition on social media for the first time: she said that she has "good days and bad days."
