Charlie Sheen's Ex-Wife Suspected in Murder of 'Friends' Star Matthew Perry
The media reported the name of the woman who police believe is involved in the death of Friends star Matthew Perry. The cause of death of the actor, who was found dead in his home late last year, is believed to be the effects of ketamine. According to investigators, his friend, actress and Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller, may have brought it to him. This was reported by In Touch Weekly.
Brooke has already been questioned by police, and her phone and computer have been seized. She could soon be charged with manslaughter. Several other people are also involved in the case.
"She has hired lawyers and met with law enforcement officials multiple times since they arrived at her home with a search warrant. She has remained silent about the situation," the publication says.
Brooke, 46, like Matthew Perry, had drug problems and was undergoing treatment in rehab. It is believed that she met the actor there. Two years ago, her children were taken away from her because of her addiction: two sons with Charlie Sheen, Bob and Max. Charlie Sheen himself also suffered from addiction and is HIV-positive.
Matthew Perry died late last year at the age of 55, drowning in a hot tub due to the effects of ketamine, which he took to treat depression. Investigators recently discovered new details: there was no ketamine in the actor’s home, and his last treatment session with its use was more than a week ago and could not have led to an overdose. In addition, the actor did not drink alcohol or use illegal substances. Investigators concluded that someone could have brought him ketamine.
Perry, best known for his role as Chandler on Friends, said in his memoir that he spent more than $9 million on addiction treatment, attended 6,000 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and went to rehab 15 times. However, according to his relatives, he had not been using anything in the last few days before his death.
