The "Dolina Scheme" was named the most negative event of 2025.

The scandal surrounding the sale of Larisa Dolina's apartment and the "Dolina scheme" have been recognized as the most notable negative event in the blogosphere in 2025. This was reported by TASS, citing a study by the Association of Bloggers and Agencies.
"The explosion reached its peak in November: the singer was mentioned 13,750 times in Telegram channels in the month ending November 28, 2025. In fact, one could say the star's popularity has grown tenfold, but the vast majority of mentions have a negative connotation. In total, publications in November alone garnered more than 81 million views," the analysts stated.
It also clarified that the number of search queries about the artist has also increased. According to Yandex WordStat, in 2023–2024, users searched for the name "Larisa Dolina" on average 190,000 times per month, and in September 2025, the number of queries rose to 611,000 per month.
As a reminder, last spring, Larisa Dolina fell victim to fraud: she sold her five-room apartment in central Moscow for 112 million rubles to Polina Lurye, then handed the money over to the scammers. Experts later stated that Dolina allegedly wasn't aware of her actions at the time of the transaction, and the court returned the apartment to the singer, leaving Lurye without the money or the apartment. Last week, the court dismissed Lurye's latest complaint, left the property in Dolina's possession, and also paid her a real estate commission of 3 million rubles.
Now, cases of apartments being returned to their owners shortly after sale are cropping up across the country. This scheme has become popularly dubbed the "Dolina effect." Amid the scandal, Dolina has also been "canceled": for example, audiences have begun returning tickets to her concerts, and Burger King has even excluded the singer's home from its delivery zone.
Despite the hate, some colleagues supported Dolina, while the 70-year-old singer herself considers the criticism "paid for." Meanwhile, the situation is already being discussed in the State Duma, and deputy Nina Ostanina criticized Larisa Dolina and appealed to the Supreme Court.
