Angelina Jolie intends to leave Hollywood soon.

Angelina Jolie intends to leave Hollywood soon to "start a new chapter in her life" following her scandalous divorce from Brad Pitt—most likely outside the United States, according to Western tabloids.
According to Page Six, the 50-year-old actress has listed her $25 million estate, complete with gardens, a pool, and a studio, where she and her six children have lived since 2016, for sale. She has reportedly already begun secretly showing it to potential buyers.
Jolie wants to start a new life, unconnected to life in the US and her messy divorce from Pitt, the publication notes. "Considering everything she's been through with Brad, their entire life spent in the spotlight, and all these years... the only way to relax is to leave," actor, producer, and longtime associate of Jolie's, Jay Benjamin, told reporters.
Jolie is reportedly considering splitting her time between Cambodia, France, and several African countries. Cambodia, where she adopted her eldest son, Maddox, in 2002, is expected to become her home base. "All of these places are very special. She has close friends there whom she considers confidantes and family," a source told People.
Jolie previously admitted that she was eager to leave Los Angeles, where she was forced to live until all six of her children turned 18. Her youngest children, twins Vivienne and Knox, will reach adulthood on July 12, 2026, and she will finally be able to sever ties with the city, the publication notes.
Jolie and Pitt officially finalized their divorce on December 30, 2024, after eight years of legal proceedings, though they are still in litigation over their French winery, Chateau Miraval. They are the parents of three adopted children (Maddox, 24, from Cambodia, Pax, 22, from Vietnam, and Zahara, 20, from Ethiopia), as well as three biological children: Shiloh, 19, whom Jolie gave birth to in Namibia, and 17-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, born in Nice.
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016 after a heated argument on a private jet en route from France to Los Angeles. She accused her husband of physical abuse and assault against one of their sons, which Pitt, however, completely denied. The FBI conducted an investigation and closed the investigation without bringing any charges against the actor, and the Department of Children and Families found no evidence of abuse.
The children, however, sided with Jolie, who is their primary guardian, despite Pitt's attempts to mend their relationship. Shiloh officially filed to renounce her father's surname on her 18th birthday. Zahara and Vivienne list themselves in documents without mentioning Pitt's surname.
