"I made plans, and then I didn't go anywhere." Amanda Seyfried posed for Vogue and opened up about mental health issues.

Amanda Seyfried, 40, graces the January cover of Vogue magazine. The actress wears designs from Dior, Valentino, and Chloé, and in an interview, she discussed her OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) and why family is more important to her than her career.
The actress recalled that she suffered from an extreme form of obsessive-compulsive disorder for many years. She noted that she "has to give credit" to her diagnosis, as to some extent it "protected" her from some problems early in her career. At a younger age, when her peers were leading vibrant nightlife and battling depression and addiction, Seyfried sometimes couldn't even leave the house.
"I made plans, and then I just didn't go anywhere. I think I made that choice consciously... I didn't get into the nightlife scene. I have to give credit to my OCD."
Now that Amanda Seyfried is a global star, she prioritizes family over work. The actress lives on a country estate near New York City with her husband, Thomas Sadowski, whom she married in 2017, and their two children.
"It's a privilege that I have at this point in my career. [Now] I can say, 'Look, I'll do this job, but... I have to sleep with the kids on Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night—I have to go to bed with them.' That's my only rule. And it gives me energy. I mean, it might help them, but it definitely helps me."
Earlier, Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney presented their new film "The Maid" in Hollywood.
