Elon Musk announced his intention to take his son away from blogger Ashley St. Clair after her comments about transgender people*

Elon Musk is seeking full custody of his one-year-old son, Romulus, with blogger Ashley St. Clair. The billionaire announced this yesterday on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) following his ex-girlfriend's comments regarding transgender issues.
"Today I will be filing for full custody, given her statements suggesting she may transition* of our one-year-old boy," Musk wrote, apparently referring to his son.
It remains unclear exactly what statements St. Claire, 27, is referring to. However, over the weekend, she posted an apology to the transgender* community on social media after one user accused her of "blatant transphobia*" in the past.
In her post, St. Clair specifically mentioned Musk's 21-year-old transgender* daughter, Vivian, with his ex-wife, Justine Wilson, with whom he has a strained relationship. As a reminder, 54-year-old Musk has not spoken to his daughter for many years and has repeatedly referred to her by her former name, claiming in 2024 that she was "killed by the virus of awakened consciousness."
Last year, St. Clair made headlines when she identified Musk as the father of her newborn son. The entrepreneur later confirmed paternity, and she accused him of paying her to remain silent about their relationship.
Musk has 13 other children—six with Wilson, four with his employee Siobhan Zilis, and three with singer Grimes. Grimes is currently engaged in a custody battle with Musk.
Grimes recently accused her "stupid" ex of blocking her on social media while co-parenting their children remains her "priority," and asked him to keep them out of the public eye. However, Elon Musk frequently appears in public with one of his sons with Grimes. For example, he has repeatedly brought the boy along to meetings with Donald Trump.
