Sandra Bullock made a rare comment about her adopted children and late boyfriend.

Sandra Bullock opened up about raising her children after the death of her partner, Brian Randall. The 61-year-old actress has two adopted children, 16-year-old Louis Bardot and 14-year-old Leila, whom she adopted before her relationship with Randall. He later legally adopted the children.
Bullock returns to film this year with the second installment of Practical Magic after a four-year hiatus due to the illness and death of her boyfriend, photographer Brian Randall. In 2023, the actress's lover died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Bullock says she's been spending all her time with her children since Brian's death: "I did this movie because my kids were on vacation during filming. I'm not going to sacrifice time with my kids," the actress said at the CNBC Changemakers Summit.
The actress added: "They would be happy if I weren't around sometimes. But I can't. It's true. I can't work if I know my children might be going through difficulties or need something, and I can't be there."
Sandra also admitted that being a single mother is difficult, and she still struggles with thoughts like "I'm not where I'm supposed to be right now" while filming. But in those moments, Bullock reminds herself, "We can do 15 things at once and still get it all done."
As a reminder, Sandra Bullock began dating photographer Bryan Randall in 2015. Shortly after their relationship began, Randall adopted the actress's adopted children. In 2021, Bullock publicly announced her relationship for the first time on Red Table Talk, calling Randall "the love of my life."
However, just a year later, Sandra told reporters she would take a break from her career to be with her family. Until Randall's death, his family kept his illness a secret. Only after his death in August 2023 did Bullock reveal that her beloved had been battling ALS for the past three years.
