Media: Prince William evicted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Kensington Palace after complaints from staff

The conflict between 39-year-old Prince William and 36-year-old Prince Harry has long occupied one of the central places in the British media and has not yet exhausted itself. The other day, new details appeared.

According to historian Robert Lacey, the brothers ' relationship soured after Kensington Palace staff accused Meghan Markle of rude behavior and bullying. Lacey writes about this in her book Battle of Brothers: The Inside Story of a Family in Tumult, an excerpt from which was published in The Times.

The author claims that when William heard complaints from the royal staff about his daughter-in-law, he and Harry had a bitter argument.

Robert Lacey writes that Harry fiercely defended his wife and deliberately turned off the phone so that William could not reach him. However, the Duke of Cambridge did not back down and came to talk to his brother in person.

He was horrified by what he had been told about Meghan's alleged behavior, and he wanted to hear what Harry had to say. The showdown between the brothers was fierce and furious,

- says the author.

After that, William, according to him, decided that the families needed to separate and demanded that his brother and his wife leave Kensington Palace.

Lacey also noted that Kate was cautious about Meghan from the very beginning. And William, according to him, allegedly confessed to a friend that Megan had a certain plan. The accusations he had heard against her only confirmed his suspicions. He believed that it shattered the cherished principles of the monarchy,

Lacey writes.

According to him, William was also concerned that Meghan was stealing from his beloved brother, and Harry, in turn, was furious that William believed the palace staff, and not him.

When the British newspaper The Times first published allegations of bullying by Meghan against employees in March, her representatives denied the allegations, and Buckingham Palace promised to conduct an independent investigation into the case.

Aides to the duchess, who claimed harassment on her part, said that she brought them to tears and subjected them to moral bullying.
